Well well well, summer is here! Day number two has come to an end, and the days will only get shorter from here... that sounded very poetic, how lovely. Here is a
real poem to celebrate the start of summer:
Away Spring has gone, glided on by,
Back to her home in pastures of green,
And now welcome Summer,
Her sister quite fair,
With warm frothing breezes
And pure waves for flowing hair.
And poem number 2:
"Ouch!" cried Spring to Summer, her foe,
"You just threw a brick and you stepped on my toe!"
Summer, the scoundrel, threw her head back and laughed.
"If your face is so strange, eat pizza instead!"
How amazing those are, the work of a brilliant genius. *bats eyes*
Anyway, thanks for reading, and remember, stay cool... dumping ice on your head works. :)
